Welcome to the Chobe Bushbuck Sanctuary, where guests have the unique opportunity to observe and appreciate one of the region’s most elusive and endangered antelope species in a protected natural environment. The sanctuary plays an important conservation role by providing a safe habitat for the rare Chobe bushbuck, and on occasion guests may even encounter orphaned animals being rehabilitated before their release back into the wild. 

Nature walks through the riverine forest, quiet birdwatching, and simply relaxing around the property offer excellent opportunities to spot these beautiful antelope while learning about the sanctuary’s conservation efforts. The sanctuary adds a special wildlife experience to any stay, combining responsible conservation with an intimate connection to the natural beauty of the Okavango Panhandle.
